Howe seems too meek even for Tony who always has that hint of danger.

I mostly know of 1980s British politics through Spitting Image :-)

I think he'll do mild-mannered Geoffrey Howe turning into a raging spitfire very nicely; that speech was worth all the "dead sheep" references. I recall feeling quite joyful about it.
