Living in the shadow of Season 8

Maybe it's just me, but are some fans coming back in from the cold? Or is it too early to tell if #40 (and the letter) has changed things.

I think it's too early to tell. But it does seem like the porch light is back on.

Let the healing begin. Or something like that. I'm glad we've got a 8 month break. That should help. The four month gap didn't really work when the show was on the air.

I'm pretty sure season 9 won't have more readers than season 8. If DH is able to keep the 40.000 they're incredibly talented, or lucky. (And i'm not saying this because i loathe season 8 - i don't. But, as an ongoing story from season 8 to season 9 the average comic book readership attritition should effect season 9 right from it's starting point: 40.000 copies sold.)

For my part, I think #40 was a very good issue. I wish they had all been as good.
