I have been hunting for decent Buffy commentary/meta/analyis of late and finally found some! Thank god, as I can't take any more minor Avengers casting news rumours. The following is a critique of the Open University's Buffy as Pygmalion podcast series.

[livejournal.com profile] eleusis_walks has done some fascinating posts about relevant vs gratuitous classical references in the 'verse. If the goal is to cement a particular reading of the classical story through the contemporary connection, then that seems valuable in itself, although I'm with the author of the post you link here, in generally preferring to focus on the show's internal structure of reference.

**clears throat**

You could always check out my podcast.... That's pretty much all I do. Sometimes it's light and fluffy, other times it's pretty intense. http://www.upsidedownhappyland.com/

Also, if you've not already heard them all, the Buffycast is amazing stuff.
