Strange week in fandom

The Buffy LJ fandom surprised me* by not picking up on the OMWF bullying incident and the traditional Firefly fandom got left way behind in the dust by the "Help Nathan Buy Firefly" Facebook movement.

*Though I may not have been looking hard enough for LJ commentary on the issue.

I saw several LJ comments about that nasty Dawn bullying incident.

I notice the FB movement was strongly supported by the "I'm With JoJo" people.

I guess I did miss it then. Google Blog Search and the internal LJ search engine is not 100% reliable to say the least.

I saw the "I'm with JoJo" support but they've been very quite of late and I think most fans have moved on from them.
