There's a number of Spike fans who aren't as positive about it. The Redemptionistas would welcome it because it falls in line with what they wanted. I personally think it's a mess to say that Spike can be 100% good without a soul because it means that he could've been good as a vampire and he chose to be evil. He was capable of fully empathizing with his victims but he instead chose to torture and murder him. It's... a mess. I think it makes Spike look worse.

But apparently the writer says that Spike was mostly bluffing because he was talking to an enemy and so he was full of bluster. Who knows?

I hope the test comes out OK.

Hate the Lynch comics with a fiery passion. Though I *was* happy that both Lynch and Mariah at IDW basically said this was all their own cooking -- Joss has nothing to do with it. Phew.
