The best of the best

Dear Lurker,

If you've paying attention last week, aside from oppressing my fellow fans I ran a five day poll on Whedonesque's Twitter account and Facebook page where people voted for the best episode from each of Joss' shows and then they all faced off against each other on the fifth day. The most popular 'bests' were 'The Body', 'Not Fade Away', 'Out of Gas' and 'Epitaph One'. It was very close between 'The Body' and 'Out of Gas' at the end.

This week, it's the best character from Buffy, Angel, Firefly and Dollhouse. I have a feeling the face-off on Sunday will be Spike vs Wesley vs Mal vs Topher. But we'll have to wait and see. An all male final would be interesting to say the least.

I missed your poll about the episode, but I agree with the ones voting "The body".

I know it'll win Spike probably, but my choice is on Willow since she had the most complete arc for me.

When ever I do these types of polls on Twitter, Willow has a very strong following. If Whedonesque's Twitter followers are anything to go by, I'd say she's the show's second most popular character.

I took a glance at the tweets to your question and I think people are replying with their 'favorite character' rather than 'best character'. That's JMO, of course.

Just to clarify, I answered Buffy. But my favorite characters are: female: Faith, male: Riley.
