Finally watched all of Forbrydelsen aka The Killing. Superb television. I cried, I was enthralled and found Danish politics to be really interesting (who knew?). There's a mayor to rival The Mayor and a brand new female tv icon to rival the greats. Sarah Lund is a fantastic character. If you haven't seen this show pick it up on DVD, you won't regret it.

It is fantastic television. I truly don't understand why people would consider watching the American remake.

I'm hoping the second series gets shown here too. That French show Spiral got a lot of buzz here so I've put it on my DVD rental queue.
