Morning thoughts

sombrefanI've decided to go and see mum in the hospital this weekend. Dad is away at a conference in Austria and seeing that mum has a bad bowel infection and took another bad fall yesterday, I think she would appreciate me coming up to see her. My cold had almost gone away so I shouldn't infect her.
Watched epi 2 of Season 7 Buffy and the new Angel season 4 premiere, Seen them already on VCD on the PC but nothing beats watching them on the telly. The Spike/Buffy scene in the church is an amazing scene and probably one of the best moments ever from the show. Angel was pretty darn good. I must get the season 3 DVD to get up caught up on what happened.
I'm still wondering along with half the music press if Jack White from the White Stripes does sing on that Electric Six single.
British and Italian police arresting terrorists. This is the war on terrorism I want to see. Still not convinced by arguments about why we should attack Iraq but getting tired of the usual cliched whinging arguments from certain people on the left. Some of these people were ,after all, the apologists for the regimes in Eastern Europe during the 80s and 90s.

Vague signs that Northern Ireland peace process is getting back on track. Long haul for an endgame here.
