I got bored and did a proper poll on Whedonesque's Facebook page.

I think a Facebook account would skew towards the positive because fans have already declared their interest in the comics by clicking the "like" button in the first place to follow Buffy news, so these results don't surprise me in spite of the negativity of livejournal fandom.

There might a slight bias in the results but it's an interesting poll all the same. Makes me wonder about the differences between the older LJ fandom and the newer social media fandom. I mean for years it was the same old faces on LJ and on the message boards and forums. And now *poof*, brand new voices all over the place as a result of Twitter and Facebook.
