Wincing with pain as I listen to the Manic Street Preachers covering 'Bright Eyes'. One of my favourite all time songs and one of the very few that I cry too. Watership Down is so not for kids. Must get round to buying it on DVD.
I watched Watership Down at school in grade TWO. I agree that it's not for children. I was scarred for life. When my dad tried to get me to read the book a couple of years later, I refused. I finally got up the courage and loved the book, but the thought of the movie still scares me these many years later.
