Reading "The Emperor of Ocean Park" at the moment. Proving to be one of those books that I actually take time reading. Usually with a book I try to devour it in one go.

Extremely well-written and for some reason reminds me of Donna Tart's "The Secret History". Must be the academic setting I guess as the plots as sure as hell aren't the same.

Dunno what to read after I finish it. Anyone got any good recommendations?

Probably my favorite passage, as much of an aside as it was, came when Talcott tried to describe the ideological (lack of) background for the various members of his law class. I teared up, 'twas so hilarious.

I haven't had much time to work on A House for Mr. Biswas lately, as Naipaul's chapters are really long. So before I head to bed of late, I've read a short story or review from The Portable Dorothy Parker. Consistently good work, but you wouldn't want to read all of them at once or you'd become a total misanthrope.
