sombrefanReading "The Emperor of Ocean Park" at the moment. Proving to be one of those books that I actually take time reading. Usually with a book I try to devour it in one go.
Extremely well-written and for some reason reminds me of Donna Tart's "The Secret History". Must be the academic setting I guess as the plots as sure as hell aren't the same.
Dunno what to read after I finish it. Anyone got any good recommendations?

Date: 2003-07-23 01:33 pm (UTC)Also, the K-PAX sci-fi trilogy by Gene Brewer. It'll make you think, while keeping you laughing. They made the first book into a movie a few years ago. The other two books are just as good and possibly better.
