Sighs trying to get a plumber these days is not an easy task.

Anyway.

Michael Moore praises Wesley Clark. Should the Democrats be worried?

Apart from the small matter of Wesley Clark nearly causing World War 3 with the Russians in Kosovo back in 1999, the more I read about the man the more I like. I think he would be an interesting President and would have the guts to stand up to various special groups.

And hello to you Mr Bush. You don't know me but presumably this report has been passed to you by your National Security Advisor. Wake up and smell the coffee George, your Middle East peace plan is going down the drain. If the Saudis do acquire a nuclear bomb, who knows what will happen next. At least with the Iranians, we know they will be sensible (I hope) but seeing as Saudi Arabia has a lot of inner dissent at the minute, I expect that country to be destabilised very soon. Either by pro-American Saudis or more likely Islamic fundamentalists.

In other news, a new Angel trailer was aired last night during Smallville.

new Angel trailer?

but if you go to the ASSB, you find a link to where you can download it. I didn't post the link at whedonesque cause one it would probably kill the Sparklies.org server and two we have a rule against posting stuff that could break copyright thingy jiggies.

I bet Saletan is working overtime now.

I've enjoyed the Slate profiles more than almost any other coverage the race has had.

Certainly more than O'Reilly trying to pass off fiscal discipline and troop support(a request for aid in Iraq from the UN) as "handing over the defense of our freedom."

Ick. Politics!

I'm starting to agree though. The more I hear of this general, the more I'm starting to like him. Now the fact that he stood up for Michael Moore's freedom of speech when everyone else was getting on his case.. it says a lot.

Hopefully, when the time comes to vote there will be at least one person on the ballot I don't want to automatically kill. Maybe this general is the one I've been hoping for.
