Anyway, news items seem to be talked about here.
So the best news site in the world is ,of course, the BBC news website and the best opinions on current events if you're some what mildly left wing like me is dear old salon.com (if you're a Yank) and The Guardian (if you're more European inclined).

Looks like the Saudis have a plot to get rid of Saddam.

I supported the war in Afganistan but if the Americans are going to attack Iraq they need a bloody good reason too and if they have lets overthrow every other tin pot evil dictator that oppresses and murders their citizens.
