Q which is probably the best music channel around are doing the 50 best videos ever. Which means even though I am dying of cold and have a banging headache I have to sit here and watch Blur "The Universal" and U2 "The Sweetest Thing" two of my favourite ever videos. Me loves comedian Bono and the Clockwork Orange tribute by Damon and co.

Good TV kicks off in earnest next week. Miracles (which I have been dying to see) is being shown next week and all new Stargate and Enterprise plus the season 4 finale of Angel. 'Home' for that was the name of the episode is probably one of the most powerful episodes David has been.

There's a rather wicked piece on fanfic at the upper crust we sneer at the lower classes Daily Telegraph. Amused me no end.

Must get aspirin now. Robyn has the cold too and I feel achy but have to do the shopping today otherwise we aint eating at all. Well I suppose we could get a curry tonight.

And there is a small sect of Wodehouse fanfic writers, but they're much quieter about it. The two I've met are middle-aged and sort of embarrassed about writing it.

That was an interesting article. He didn't just read and snark, he actually tried it.

But at FF.N, dear gods above, below, and sideways! He's lucky he got literate responses at all.

And the slash was about on par with what the better writers I know started out with. If he kept practicing and paid attention to canon and fanon, he could be decent in about a year.
