Spanish threaten Iraq pull out

The Spanish electorate appear to turn on their government and voted in the Socialists. The PM elect reiterates his opposition to the US led war in Iraq and threatens to pull the troops out.

Appears to have seriously misplayed this tragedy. Time's feature on the attacks says that there was evidence that they tried to play up the possibility of it being the ETA, against whom they've taken a hardline stance, while downplaying the idea that it could have been retribution for the war. Stupid, stupid, stupid and the backlash knocked em straight out of office. Hope the rest of us don't wind up regretting this....
