Well that's the Buffyverse on hold for a bit

The animated series looks like it will happen. Though how many fans will want to see the adventures of Buffy back in season one?

The AtS WB TV movies will not happen but we may see TV movies based around a specific character.

A movie on the big screen in three years time? Who knows. The franchise is still making lots of cash for Fox. And deep down, that's why it will come back in one shape or another.

Outside bet is a new series set in the Buffyverse with some familar faces.

If Whedon's involved, I'll take whatever I can get, because I trust him to do a quality project or nothing.

But I think this franchise may be another Star Trek, where the following actually grows over time, so who knows what in a few years.
